Monkey A beta1-42 (Amyloid Beta Peptide 1-42) ELISA Kit (MKES00058)

The Monkey A beta1-42 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is purpose-built for quantitative measurement of amyloid-beta 1-42, the 42-residue proteolytic fragment of amyloid precursor protein (APP) that is the principal constituent of senile plaques in Alzheimer's disease. This non-human primate-reactive assay supports translational neuroscience research where macaque or cynomolgus monkey model samples are used to evaluate amyloid pathology, therapeutic antibody efficacy, and biomarker dynamics.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in sandwich immunoassay configuration. Each well requires 50 uL of sample, and the colorimetric readout is captured on a standard plate reader. The capture and detection antibody pair shows species-specific recognition for monkey A beta 1-42 with negligible cross-reactivity against A beta 1-40.
