MMP-7 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit provides a sensitive, lysate-free method for measuring MMP-7 (matrilysin) protein levels directly in cultured cells. The colorimetric assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which MMP-7 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to normalize absorbance to cell density, supporting accurate comparison across wells and treatment conditions.

Designed for use with adherent cells and validated for human, mouse, and rat samples, the kit is suited to screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, or activators on MMP-7 expression.
