MMP-19 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of matrix metalloproteinase-19 (MMP-19) levels in cell samples. MMP-19 is a key enzyme involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue remodeling processes, making the kit useful for studies of cancer progression, inflammatory diseases, and tissue repair.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which MMP-19 is captured by MMP-19-specific primary antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It is described as a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive assay for measuring relative amounts of MMP-19 in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.
