MKK3 (Phospho-Ser189)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables detection of MKK3 phosphorylated at serine 189 in cultured cells. Designed for use with adherent cell samples, the assay provides a lysate-free, high-throughput format for qualitative measurement of phosphorylated MKK3 levels and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on MKK3 phosphorylation.

Detection uses an indirect ELISA approach in which MKK3 (Phospho-Ser189) is captured by phospho-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalise target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used afterwards to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, is read by colorimetric measurement at 450 nm, and supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It is intended for research use in drug discovery, disease research, and basic science studies of MKK3, a key signalling molecule in pathways governing inflammation, cell growth, and apoptosis.
