Met Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of Met protein expression in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which Met is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

The kit supports measuring relative Met levels in cultured cells and screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, or activators on Met expression. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

Reactivity is reported with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, and the assay is intended for use with adherent cells. Detection is by colorimetric measurement at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of greater than 5000 cells. The plate-based kit should be stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 months.
