MEK1 (Phospho-Thr286)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the sensitive detection of MEK1 phosphorylation at threonine 286 in cell lysates. The indirect assay uses target-specific primary antibodies with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, and signal is read colorimetrically at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and supports a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells. It is configured for use with adherent cells and provides a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow suited to measuring relative phosphorylation levels in cultured cells, as well as screening the effects of inhibitors, siRNA, or other treatments on MEK1 phosphorylation.

An anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance readings can be adjusted for plating differences between wells.
