Meis1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay

Meis1 (Myeloid Ecotropic virus Integration Site 1) is a TALE-family homeodomain transcription factor that partners with Hox proteins to drive gene expression during hematopoiesis, leukemogenesis and limb development. This Assay Genie DNA-Binding ELISA quantifies the binding activity of Meis1 to its consensus DNA response elements immobilized on a microplate, allowing researchers to measure transcription factor activation directly in nuclear and cell lysates. The kit is validated for endogenous Meis1 detection in human, mouse and rat samples, supporting studies of cofactor recruitment, chromatin occupancy, and transcriptional regulatory mechanisms in vitro. Frozen components should be aliquoted upon receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and the assay is configured as a complete reagent set for research use only.
