Description
The Assay Genie kit is a colorimetric transcription factor activity ELISA designed to detect and qualitatively analyse MEF2A phosphorylated at Thr312 in eukaryotic nuclear or cell lysates. MEF2A is a DNA-binding transcription factor involved in muscle development, neuronal differentiation, cell growth control and apoptosis.
Reported reactivity includes human, mouse and rat. The stated assay time is 4.5 hours, with colorimetric detection at 450 nm; storage is specified at 4°C for 6 months.
