MDA ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of MDA (Malondialdehyde). It is based on a double-antigen sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay format, with the microplate pre-coated with a specific antigen. The colorimetric detection method uses a biotin-labeled antigen, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is described as universally reactive. Sensitivity is reported at 4.688 ng/mL and the assay range is 7.813-500 ng/mL. Reported recovery averages range from 95% to 97% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=10). The kit should be stored sealed at 2-8°C and not cryopreserved.
