MASTL Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit enables qualitative detection of MASTL protein expression directly in cultured cells, with no lysate preparation required. The indirect ELISA format uses MASTL-specific primary antibodies for target capture, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody and catalyze a colorimetric reaction on substrate addition, read at 450 nm.

The assay is reactive with human and mouse samples and is suitable for adherent cell cultures, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density, with absorbance values then normalized to cell amounts to adjust for plating differences. The kit is supplied in a 96-well microplate format for high-throughput use and is stored at 4°C with a 6-month shelf life.
