MAPKAPK2 (Phospho-Ser272)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides a high-throughput, lysate-free method for detecting and quantifying phosphorylation of MAPKAPK2 at serine 272 in cultured cells. The assay is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and uses a colorimetric readout at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

Qualitative determination is achieved through an indirect ELISA format: primary antibodies capture the phospho-target while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to adjust for cell density. Applications include drug discovery, pathway analysis and biomarker identification, supporting research into stress and inflammatory signalling.
