Description

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed to detect phosphorylated MAP3K7 at Thr187 in cultured cells, using a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm. The assay is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and is intended for use with adherent cells in a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow.

Qualitative detection is achieved via an indirect ELISA format: phospho-specific primary antibodies capture MAP3K7 (Phospho-Thr187), and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The kit can be used to measure relative levels of phosphorylated MAP3K7 in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on MAP3K7 phosphorylation. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is provided for determining cell density.

The stated dynamic range is > 5000 Cells. The kit targets MAP3K7 (Gene ID: 6885; UniProt ID: O43318), a protein also known as TAK1.
