MAGE-1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA is designed for the accurate quantification of MAGE-1 (Melanoma-associated antigen 1) protein levels in cell cultures. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, enabling qualitative determination of MAGE-1 concentration through a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm.

The workflow is lysate-free and supports high-throughput use, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step allows normalisation of absorbance values to cell density. The kit is intended for human samples and for studying the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on MAGE-1 expression in adherent cells.

For storage, the kit is stable at 4°C for 6 Months and is associated with the MAGEA1 gene (Gene ID: 4100; UniProt: P43355), a member of the melanoma antigen family relevant to cancer biology research.
