Maf Transcription Factor Activity Assay

The Assay Genie Maf Transcription Factor Activity Assay is a DNA-binding ELISA kit that uses a microplate format to quantitatively measure the binding activity of Maf transcription factors in nuclear and cell lysates. The Maf family includes small Maf proteins (MafF, MafG, MafK) and large Maf proteins (c-Maf, MafA, MafB), which together regulate gene expression programs in hematopoietic, pancreatic, and neuronal tissues. Researchers apply this immunoassay to investigate Maf-driven processes such as cellular differentiation, immune cell maturation, and oncogenic transformation, and the kit serves as a quantitative alternative to electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSAs).
