Lyn Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed to measure Lyn protein levels directly in cultured cells without the need for lysate preparation. Lyn is a member of the Src family of protein kinases with a documented role in B cell antigen-receptor signaling, making it a relevant target for studying cellular signaling pathways.

The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which Lyn is captured by Lyn-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. It is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is intended for adherent cells, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to account for differences in cell density across wells.

Supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format with storage at 4°C for 6 Months, the kit is suitable for measuring relative Lyn levels in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on Lyn expression in a range of cell-based research applications.
