LXA4/Lipoxin A4 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Lipoxin A4 (LXA4) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It uses a competitive ELISA format coated with antigen with colorimetric detection and is described as having universal reactivity.

Lipoxin A4 is a lipid mediator involved in inflammation resolution and immune regulation, with research pointing to its potential therapeutic relevance in inflammatory disorders, asthma, and cardiovascular diseases. The kit delivers a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a measured range of 7.813–500 pg/mL.

The assay procedure involves adding 50 µL of standard or sample together with 50 µL of biotin-labeled antibody per well, incubating at 37°C for 45 minutes, washing, and developing with TMB substrate in the dark at 37°C for 10–20 minutes before reading absorbance at 450 nm. Supplied components include an ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, and a technical manual. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C, sealed, and not cryopreserved.
