LMTK2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Designed for the precise detection of LMTK2 levels in cell lysates, serum, and tissue culture samples, this colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is described as a lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive assay. Intended for use with human samples, the assay employs an indirect ELISA format in which LMTK2-specific primary antibodies are detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a measurable colorimetric signal at 450 nm upon substrate addition. The kit has a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells and provides qualitative determination of LMTK2 concentration.

The kit can be used to measure relative LMTK2 levels in cultured cells, including adherent cells, and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on LMTK2. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values. A Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is provided for determining cell density to allow normalization to cell amounts.
