Lipoarabinomannan (LAM) ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA from Assay Genie developed for the detection of lipoarabinomannan (LAM) in biological samples. LAM is a key constituent of the mycobacterial cell wall, and measuring its levels is relevant to research into tuberculosis and other mycobacterial infections. The assay uses a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

The working range is 0.312–20 ng/mL, with reactivity described as general. The protocol supports serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell lysate, tissue homogenate, tissue lysate, and breast milk samples. The procedure involves incubation with detection reagents, washing steps, substrate development at 37 °C, and a stop step before absorbance is read. The kit is for research use only and includes a dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution, and plate sealers.
