LIMK1/2 (Phospho-Thr505)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit uses a colorimetric detection method to identify LIMK1/2 phosphorylation at threonine 505 in cultured cells. The kit operates as a lysate-free, high-throughput assay in an indirect ELISA format, in which the phospho-target is captured by LIMK1/2 (Phospho-Thr505)-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It has been validated for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The assay enables qualitative measurement of relative phosphorylated LIMK1/2 levels in adherent cells and supports screening of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), and activators for their effects on LIMK1/2 phosphorylation. Detection is read at 450 nm, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. To support data normalization, a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be adjusted for plating differences.
