Lck Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Lck Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit provides a sensitive, high-throughput approach for detecting the LCK protein in cultured cells. The kit uses an in-cell, indirect ELISA format in which Lck is captured by Lck-specific primary antibodies; HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies then bind the Fc region of the primary antibody and catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Designed for qualitative measurement of relative Lck expression in adherent cell samples, the assay is supplied in a 96-well microplate format and read at 450 nm. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and shows a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. The kit can be used to measure Lck levels in cultured cells as well as to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators.

Two normalisation strategies are built in to support reproducible results. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density so absorbance values can be adjusted to cell amounts. The kit is stored at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.
