LAT Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed to detect LAT (Linker for activation of T-cells family member 1) in cultured adherent cells. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method measured at 450 nm and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It is supplied in a 96-well microplate format and is intended to be stored at 4°C for up to 6 months.

The kit is described as lysate-free and high-throughput, employing an indirect ELISA format in which LAT is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating variation.

Applications include immunology research such as the study of T-cell antigen receptor signalling and downstream events involving the recruitment of PLCG1, GRB2, and GRAP2.
