Keratin 19 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A Cell-Based ELISA from Assay Genie for detecting and quantifying Keratin 19 protein in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which Keratin 19-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It is qualitative and lysate-free, supporting high-throughput work such as screening treatments, inhibitors, or activators for effects on Keratin 19 expression.

Keratin 19, encoded by KRT19 (Gene ID: 3880; UniProt: P08727), is an intermediate filament protein that contributes to the structural integrity of epithelial cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density for further normalisation. The kit is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and is suited to adherent cells.
