JunD (Phospho-Ser255)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit provides a qualitative, indirect ELISA method for detecting JunD phosphorylated at Ser255 in cultured cells. The kit is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells, and uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm. It is supplied in a 96-well microplate format suited to high-throughput workflows.

The assay is lysate-free and uses a phospho-specific primary antibody to capture JunD (Phospho-Ser255), with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalysing a colour reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided for determining cell density. This supports normalisation of absorbance values to cell number, allowing plating differences to be adjusted.

Phosphorylation of JunD at Ser255 is implicated in cell signalling and in the regulation of gene expression, influencing processes such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. The kit is applicable to drug discovery, cancer research and signal transduction studies, and falls within the Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling research area.
