JM4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of JM4 (also known as PRAF2) protein expression directly in cultured cells using a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which JM4-specific primary antibodies capture the target protein, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, measured at 450 nm. Reactivity is reported for human, mouse, and rat samples, and the kit is intended for use with adherent cells. The stated dynamic range is > 5000 cells.

Designed in a 96-well microplate format, the kit supports research into cell signaling, protein interactions, and drug response. Storage is at 4 °C with 6 months of stability. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to account for differences in cell density between wells.
