IRS-1 (Phospho-Ser612)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is specifically designed to accurately quantify levels of phosphorylated IRS-1 at serine 612 in cell lysates. The cell-based, lysate-free assay offers a high-throughput, sensitive format for detecting IRS-1 protein phosphorylation and expression profile in cultured cells, using an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm upon substrate addition.

Researchers can use the kit to measure relative amounts of phosphorylated IRS-1 in cultured cells and to screen for the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on IRS-1 phosphorylation. Reactivity is confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with adherent cells as the sample type and a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.
