IR Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie IR Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a cell-based, lysate-free, high-throughput assay designed to measure IR protein expression in cultured adherent cells. It uses an indirect ELISA format in which IR-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalyzing a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm.

The kit can be used to quantify relative IR levels in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators on IR. Reactivity is reported for Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and the plate format is 96-well microplate.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. Storage is at 4°C with a stability of 6 months.
