Integrin ELISA Sampler Kit

The Assay Genie Integrin ELISA Sampler Kit bundles five pre-configured 48-well microplates, each coated with capture antibodies specific for a distinct integrin α or β subunit or heterodimer pair. Sampling multiple integrins from the same biological replicate set in a single run reduces inter-assay variability and saves the cost and time of sourcing five separate single-target ELISA kits.

Integrins are heterodimeric cell-surface glycoproteins that link the extracellular matrix to the cytoskeleton and trigger inside-out and outside-in signalling cascades involved in adhesion, migration, proliferation, and survival. The sampler format is therefore useful in cancer invasion studies (αVβ3, α5β1), angiogenesis assays, platelet activation work (αIIbβ3), and leukocyte trafficking research (α4β1, LFA-1), where parallel quantitation of several receptors provides a more informative signature than a single biomarker.

Each plate follows a matched-antibody-pair ELISA workflow: standards and diluted samples are added to coated wells, a biotinylated detection antibody is applied, followed by streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate development, and absorbance readout on a standard microplate reader. A standard curve on every plate enables quantitative interpolation, and a 50 uL sample volume per well keeps total sample consumption low across the five-plate panel.

Reagents ship on cold packs and are stored refrigerated at 4 °C until first use; reconstituted standards, diluted detection antibody, and working conjugate should be aliquoted into single-use vials and frozen at -20 °C to limit activity loss from repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The kit is intended for research use only and is validated on human samples, with the included protocol covering sample preparation, dilution series, and recommended assay replicates.
