Integrin beta3 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables qualitative measurement of integrin beta3 protein expression in cultured cells using an indirect, lysate-free format. The colorimetric detection is read at 450 nm with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells, and the kit is reactive with human and mouse samples.

Integrin beta3-specific primary antibodies capture the target within fixed cells, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to determine cell density and correct for plating differences.

Configured for a 96-well microplate workflow, the kit can be used to measure relative integrin beta3 levels in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on target expression. The kit is supplied with components for storage at 4°C.
