ILK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The assay uses a Colorimetric detection method at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format and is intended to be stored at 4°C for 6 Months. Qualitative determination of ILK is achieved through an indirect ELISA format, in which ILK-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. The bound HRP enzyme catalyses a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density for further normalization to cell amounts.
