IKK-alpha/beta (Phospho-Ser180/181)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The kit is a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive assay that operates on an indirect ELISA format, in which phosphorylation-specific primary antibodies capture the target while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It is used for measuring relative amounts of phosphorylated IKK-alpha/beta in cultured adherent cells and for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on IKK-alpha/beta phosphorylation. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density, allowing results to be analysed by normalizing absorbance values to cell amounts.
