IGF1R Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate measurement of IGF1R (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor) expression levels in cell samples. The qualitative, lysate-free assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which IGF1R is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. The conjugated HRP catalyses a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, measured at 450 nm.

The kit is intended for determining relative amounts of IGF1R in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on IGF1R. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalise target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be normalised to cell amounts.

Reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, the assay is suitable for adherent cells and has a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format and should be stored at 4°C, where it is stable for 6 Months.
