ICK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a lysate-free, high-throughput assay for the qualitative detection of ICK (intestinal cell kinase) protein expression in cultured cells. It uses an indirect ELISA format in which ICK-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm after substrate addition. The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is suited to adherent cells, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density for further normalization. According to the manufacturer, the kit is suited to drug screening, toxicity testing and cell-based studies relevant to cancer, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disorder research. Storage is at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.
