Human Zymogen granule membrane protein 16 (ZG16) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of Zymogen Granule Membrane Protein 16 (ZG16) levels in human samples. The assay reacts with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises natural and recombinant human ZG16.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 11.6%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (101-117%), EDTA plasma (95-114%) and heparin plasma (85-123%) across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery was measured at an average of 119% (range 113-120%) in serum and 120% (range 115-120%) in plasma.

According to UniProt, ZG16 may play a role in protein trafficking and may act as a linker molecule between the submembranous matrix on the luminal side of the zymogen granule membrane (ZGM) and aggregated secretory proteins during granule formation in the TGN. The kit is intended for research use only.
