ZNF354A (Zinc Finger Protein 354A) is a C2H2-type zinc finger transcription factor encoded on human chromosome 5. The protein contains an N-terminal KRAB repression domain and a series of C-terminal zinc finger motifs that mediate sequence-specific DNA binding, making it a useful target for studies of transcriptional regulation, chromatin remodeling, and KRAB-ZFP signaling networks. Researchers investigating gene expression programs in development, oncology, or stem cell biology commonly monitor ZNF354A levels as a biomarker of zinc finger protein activity. This Assay Genie microplate-based assay is configured for in vitro research use and pairs pre-coated capture antibodies with a biotinylated detection reagent to generate a measurable chromogenic signal. Each kit ships with a sealed strip plate, standard diluent, wash buffer, detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, and a recombinant ZNF354A standard curve sufficient for quantifying unknown human-derived samples. The recommended protocol loads approximately 100 uL of prepared sample per well, allowing users to measure concentration values against a freshly diluted standard series. Recommended storage is refrigerated for unopened components, with the standard stock kept frozen at -20 degrees C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw loss; bring all reagents to room temperature before use. Researchers should run samples in duplicate or triplicate and read the absorbance on a standard microplate reader compatible with the TMB endpoint. The kit is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
