Quantifying zinc finger protein 238 (ZNF238), a transcriptional repressor also known as ZBTB18 and RP58, is the focus of this in vitro immunoassay from Assay Genie. The kit supports research into neurogenesis, neuronal differentiation, and the gene regulatory networks behind intellectual disability and oncogenesis, where ZNF238 expression is increasingly studied as a molecular marker. Investigators in neuroscience, developmental biology, and oncology use this assay to measure ZNF238 protein levels in human-derived experimental samples.

The assay relies on a solid-phase immunoassay principle with a colorimetric endpoint, producing absorbance data on a standard microplate reader without requiring radioactive or fluorescent substrates. Each pack is configured for 96 Assays and includes pre-coated plates along with the reagents needed to build a standard curve and test unknown specimens. The protocol is designated for research use only and is suited to cell culture lysates, tissue extracts, and clinical research specimens prepared under standard laboratory conditions.

Assay Genie produces the kit under controlled manufacturing standards to support reproducibility between lots. The plate-based layout accommodates both small pilot experiments and broader screening campaigns, and the absorbance-based readout fits cleanly into established ELISA workflows for protein quantification.
