Human Zinc finger BED domain-containing protein 3 (ZBED3) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Zinc finger BED domain-containing protein 3 (ZBED3), also known as Axin-interacting protein, and is intended for research use only. The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and detects natural and recombinant human ZBED3.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity was assessed across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 101% for serum (range 95–107%) and 103% for plasma (range 97–109%).

ZBED3 acts as a positive regulator in the activation of the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway by stabilizing cytoplasmic beta-catenin and is involved in transcription activation of Wnt target gene expression. The protein is associated with cytoplasm and membrane compartments and interacts directly with AXIN1.
