Built around an FYVE domain-containing scaffolding protein involved in endosomal sorting and SMAD-mediated TGF-β signaling, this kit from Assay Genie provides a quantitative readout of human ZFYVE16 levels for cell signaling and membrane-trafficking research. ZFYVE16 (also called Endofin) binds phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate through its FYVE zinc finger and acts as an adaptor for early endosome cargo, making it a target of interest in studies of receptor internalization, cargo sorting, and downstream transcriptional responses to cytokines.

The assay is configured for research use only and is intended for in vitro measurement of the target. The protocol uses a capture antibody pre-coated onto the plate, paired detection reagents, and a colorimetric signal that is read on a standard plate reader. Standards and samples are processed in parallel wells to generate a standard curve against which unknown sample concentrations are interpolated. Researchers should refer to the enclosed protocol insert for the recommended sample dilution, working concentrations, and incubation times for each reagent, since these parameters are lot-specific.

Each kit is supplied as a single-use pack containing the pre-coated plate, lot-matched detection reagents, buffers, substrate, and a protocol booklet. The components are intended to be stored refrigerated on arrival and protected from light where indicated, and remain stable for the shelf life stated on the certificate of analysis when handled according to the insert. The format is compatible with standard ELISA plate washer and reader instrumentation routinely found in immunology, cell biology, and signaling laboratories, and the procedure scales readily to batch processing of multiple samples alongside a standard curve on each plate.
