XRN2 (5'-3' exoribonuclease 2) is a nuclear ribonuclease that mediates mRNA turnover, rRNA maturation, and transcription termination through the torpedo mechanism, and altered XRN2 expression has been linked to multiple cancer types. The Human XRN2 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie delivers quantitative measurement of XRN2 protein in human research samples for studies in gene regulation, RNA quality control, and oncology.

The kit is supplied as a 96-assay microplate with a colorimetric readout readable on standard plate readers. Researchers apply it to investigate XRN2 protein abundance in mechanistic studies of RNA Polymerase II termination, R-loop resolution, and the cellular response to DNA damage.
