Human XCL1/Lymphotactin ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format immunoassay from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Lptn/XCL1 (Lymphotactin) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA configuration in which a target-specific capture antibody is pre-coated onto the wells of a microplate, and detection is achieved with a biotinylated antibody followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin. Colour development is generated with a TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution, with optical density read at 450 nm.

Reported assay performance characteristics include a measuring range of 62.5 to 4000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/ml. The kit additionally includes a validated Bradford Reagent to enable total protein quantification for sample normalization. It is supplied as a research-use-only product, and the manufacturer provides general guidance on sample handling, including anticoagulant choices for plasma, homogenization conditions for tissue, and precautions regarding samples with high endogenous peroxidase activity that may react with the TMB substrate.
