Human Xanthine dehydrogenase/oxidase (XDH) ELISA Kit

Supplied for research use only, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human xanthine dehydrogenase/oxidase (XDH), a key enzyme in purine degradation that catalyses the oxidation of hypoxanthine to xanthine and of xanthine to uric acid. The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human XDH, also referred to by the synonym XDHA.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.085 ng/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16) in serum (94-118%), EDTA plasma (90-116%) and heparin plasma (83-124%), while spike-and-recovery is reported at 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma.
