Human XAB2 ELISA Kit (HUFI05656)

XAB2 (XPA-binding protein 2) is a core component of the nucleotide excision repair machinery and also contributes to pre-mRNA splicing as part of the spliceosome-associated complex. Altered XAB2 expression has been reported in studies of Cockayne syndrome, transcription-coupled repair deficiency, and cellular responses to UV-induced DNA damage, making quantitative measurement of this protein valuable for DNA repair and RNA processing research.

The Assay Genie kit is built around a pre-coated microplate and produces a colorimetric signal proportional to XAB2 concentration in each well. Each well uses approximately 100 µL of serum or plasma, and the antibody pair is human-specific, showing no significant cross-reactivity with rat or mouse XAB2.

Reconstituted standards should be kept frozen and protected from light, and the plate should be equilibrated to room temperature before opening the sealed pouch. This kit is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic procedures.
