Human Xaa-Pro dipeptidase (PEPD) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of human Xaa-Pro dipeptidase (PEPD) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human Xaa-Pro dipeptidase and has a reported detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.43 ng/mL.

Precision data from the manufacturer indicates an Intra CV of 4.8% and an Inter CV of 8.6%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with recovery in serum averaging 111% (range 105–117%) and in plasma averaging 113% (range 107–119%). The target enzyme, also known as prolidase or imidodipeptidase, splits dipeptides with a prolyl or hydroxyprolyl residue at the C-terminus and plays a role in collagen metabolism, forming a homodimer.
