Human X-box-binding protein 1 (XBP1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit measures human X-box-binding protein 1 (XBP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human XBP1, with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Average recovery is 103% for serum (range 97–109%) and 105% for plasma (range 99–111%). XBP1 functions as a stress-inducible transcriptional activator during endoplasmic reticulum stress and the unfolded protein response, with reported research relevance in cancer, neurodegenerative, and autoimmune contexts.
