Human WTIP (Wilms tumor protein 1-interacting protein) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Wilms tumor protein 1-interacting protein (WTIP), this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples from human origin.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, with absorbance measured at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated in serum (86-103%, 84-101%, 83-100% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8), EDTA plasma (85-105%, 82-92%, 81-99%) and heparin plasma (99-102%, 87-100%, 80-90%), with corresponding average spike-and-recovery values of 96%, 95% and 91%. Reagents are supplied for storage at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

WTIP interacts with Wilms tumor protein 1 and contributes to cellular processes including proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. Its dysregulation has been linked to diseases such as cancer, making it a useful biomarker for research into disease progression and potential therapeutic targets.
