Human Wnt inhibitory factor 1 (WIF1) ELISA Kit

From the manufacturer Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of human Wnt inhibitory factor 1 (WIF-1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. WIF-1 is a secreted inhibitor of WNT signaling that has been studied as a tumor suppressor and is relevant to cancer research, with dysregulation of the Wnt pathway implicated in conditions including cancer, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer's disease.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 4.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution series (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16) in serum (84-109%), EDTA plasma (97-119%), and heparin plasma (83-114%). Recovery averages 95% in serum (range 89-101%) and 97% in plasma (range 91-103%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human WIF-1.
