Human WISP-1/CCN4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers this sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human WISP-1, also known as CCN4. Using a double-antibody format, the assay delivers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. It has been validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid sample types.

WISP-1/CCN4 is described as a key signalling protein involved in cell differentiation, tissue repair, inflammation and fibrosis, making it a valuable biomarker for research into conditions such as cancer, fibrosis and arthritis. All reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for up to 12 months under those conditions.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and loading standards, samples and controls on the pre-coated plate, followed by incubation at 37 °C, sequential binding of a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB colour development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Linearity and recovery have been verified across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
