This Assay Genie immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of WNT7A protein in human tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and related specimen types. WNT7A is a secreted signaling glycoprotein in the WNT family that activates the canonical beta-catenin pathway and non-canonical PCP signaling, with established roles in embryonic axis patterning, lung and Mullerian duct development, and tissue regeneration.

Research applications include studies of gynecological and reproductive tract biology, where WNT7A expression regulates epithelial differentiation, as well as oncology research in lung, endometrial, and colorectal cancers where WNT7A acts as a tumor suppressor or context-dependent oncogenic ligand. The kit is also used to investigate stem cell maintenance, bone formation, and Wnt pathway crosstalk with Notch and Hedgehog signaling.

Each kit provides a pre-coated microplate in a single-use break-apart frame, paired capture and detection antibodies, recombinant WNT7A standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, substrate solution, stop reagent, and wash buffer sufficient for the stated assay count. The two-antibody immunoassay workflow uses a small sample volume added to wells, followed by biotinylated detection reagent, enzyme conjugate, and chromogenic substrate read by absorbance. Unopened kit components should be refrigerated and protected from light; reconstituted standards should be stored frozen at -20 degrees C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
