Human WARS (Tryptophanyl tRNA Synthetase) ELISA Kit (HUES02825)

WARS (EC 6.1.1.2, also called TrpRS or IFP53) catalyzes the ATP-dependent ligation of tryptophan onto tRNA^Trp during protein synthesis. In addition to this canonical role, alternative splice isoforms such as T1-WARS and T2-WARS are secreted and modulate angiogenesis, Toll-like receptor signaling, and IFN-gamma-driven innate immunity, so this enzyme is studied in sepsis, rheumatoid arthritis, and tumor-microenvironment contexts.

The Assay Genie sandwich-format kit includes pre-coated capture wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and a lyophilized recombinant WARS calibrator. The standard curve typically covers roughly 0.3-10 ng/mL after reconstitution, enabling quantitative readouts in serum, plasma, and conditioned medium. Reported intra-assay and inter-assay CVs are generally below 10%. Plates are read at 450 nm with an optional 570 nm wavelength correction.

Bring all reagents to room temperature before running the assay, perform sample and standard measurements in duplicate, and aliquot the reconstituted standard to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
