Human WAPL/WAPAL ELISA Kit (HUFI05683)

The WAPL protein (Wings Apart-Like homolog, also written WAPAL) is a key regulator of the cohesin complex, controlling cohesin loading onto and release from chromatin during interphase, and driving removal of cohesin from chromosome arms during prophase. By enabling timely cohesin dissociation, WAPL supports sister chromatid resolution before anaphase onset, and quantitative measurement of WAPL levels is therefore valuable in studies of chromosome segregation, DNA damage response, and mitotic progression.

Assay Genie's WAPL/WAPAL ELISA Kit is configured for in vitro research use only and is supplied as a complete microplate kit with all reagents required to run the assay. The kit enables quantitative detection in human biological matrices, supporting research into cell cycle regulation, cancer biology (including published work linking altered WAPL expression to cervical and epithelial tumor contexts), and chromatin dynamics. Reconstituted standards and working solutions should be stored refrigerated at 4 degrees C and protected from light, with aliquots kept frozen at -20 degrees C for longer-term storage; the kit should be allowed to equilibrate to room temperature before use. The recommended sample volume is 100 uL per well, with a typical assay run time of approximately 2.5 hours from sample addition to stop solution.
