Human WAP four-disulfide core domain protein 2 (WFDC2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human WAP four-disulfide core domain protein 2 (WFDC2) in serum and plasma samples. It recognises both natural and recombinant human WFDC2 and is supplied for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and spike recovery is reported at an average of 103% for serum and 105% for plasma.

WFDC2 is described as a broad-range protease inhibitor, acting on serine-, aspartic- and cysteine-type endopeptidases. The protein is a secreted, disulfide-linked homotrimer, with the UniProt reference Q14508.
